Fuel tank isolation valves

Hybrid cars face the challenge that they can drive without the combustion engine running. Thus, the gasoline in the tank can evaporate and create a pressure increase in the tank which can be  controlled by our Fuel Tank Isolation Valves (FTIV). Opens electrically and also automatically through a spring loaded diaphragm.

Hybrid cars face the challenge that they can drive without the combustion engine running. Thus, the gasoline in the tank can evaporate and increase pressure in the tank. The pressure in the tank must be controlled, and for this purpose we developed our Fuel Tank Isolation Valves (FTIV).

Also, for the vacuum which might occur due to falling temperatures ( e.g. if a car is parked overnight), our FTIV automatically opens without auxiliary energy.
