(Financial) Controller (32- 40 uur per week)

Your responsibilities
As a (Financial) Controller, you will work hands-on within a small, close-knit finance team on the financial management of three entities (production, sales, and holding company) in Kerkrade. You will be the all-round professional responsible for monthly and quarterly reports, budgets/re-forecasts, cost accounting, cost control, and the preparation of internal/external audits. Tasks include:
- Reconciling and performing in-depth checks on general ledger accounts (financial accounting).
- Preparing annual statements, reports, and investment cases with financial substantiation (cost control).
- Supporting the annual audit by providing and validating auditor data.
- Filing VAT returns for the fiscal entity.
- Identifying deviations, analysing risks, and implementing improvements in processes and systems, with a focus on cost accounting
What we are looking for
- A completed higher education degree (HBO/WO) in Business Administration, Finance & Control, or a similar financial field.
- Several years of relevant work experience in a comparable all-round financial control role, with knowledge of cost accounting, cost control, and financial accounting.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset; you identify opportunities in processes and take immediate action within a small team.
- Strong SAP skills, advanced Excel skills, and preferably experience with additional financial software (ERP systems).
- Accuracy, strong analytical skills, and a structured approach across various areas of expertise.
- Excellent communication skills.
